Dear Visitors to the Department of Computational Finance at Hanyang University,

I am Hyoung-Goo Kang, the head of the Department of Computational Finance. I sincerely thank you for your profound interest in and visit to our department. Computational finance is designed to tackle the intricate challenges of contemporary finance by blending disciplines such as law, business administration, mathematics, statistics, computer science, and financial theory. Our program ensures a balance between theory and application, empowering students to forge innovative solutions that are relevant to the real-world financial issues.

Here at the Department of Computational Finance at Hanyang University, we go beyond merely imparting knowledge; we provide real opportunities for our students to stand out in the global financial industry. Our graduates have achieved the remarkable feat of direct admissions into prestigious finance Ph.D. programs in the United States, a rarity in South Korea.
